Great Falls, Mont. – Aug. 3, 2022 – NorthWestern Energy is upgrading power lines in downtown Great Falls.

Traffic will be detoured from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5 and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7 on 4^th Street North from Central Avenue to 1^st Street North. The alley between Central Avenue and 1^st Avenue North from 2^nd Street North to 5^th Street North will be closed from the morning of Friday, Aug. 5 to the evening of Sunday, Aug. 7.

The upgraded lines will increase service reliability. Traffic interruptions during the construction work are required for the safety of the public and crews.
