Sioux Falls, S.D./Butte, Mont. – July 12, 2023 – NorthWestern Energy is named to Newsweek’s 2023 list of America’s Greatest Workplaces.

“We understand that it is our employees who are honoring the company, as it’s a group effort to be among the country’s greatest workplaces,” NorthWestern Energy President and CEO Brian Bird said. “We are an amazing team that continues to make each other, and our company, better.”

“We strive to be an employer of choice, encouraging employees to creatively address the energy evolution with innovation and integrity,” said NorthWestern Energy Vice President Customer Care, Communications and Human Resources Bobbi Schroeppel. “We are proud to be recognized for our commitment to our employees, our most valuable asset, who are committed to providing excellent energy service for our customers every day.”

Newsweek and market-data research firm Plant-A Insights Group recognized the America’s Greatest Workplaces in the United States, by conducting a large-scale employer study based on over 389,000 company reviews.

Newsweek Global Editor in Chief Nancy Cooper said the goal is to highlight companies that are committed to offering a positive working environment, ones that treat employees respectfully, pay them fairly, provide training and advancement opportunities, and support a healthy work-life balance.
